VP demeaned business community

VICE PRESIDENT Jejomar Binay demeaned our nation’s business community with his statement before the National Conference of Employers that “bank freeze has a chilling effect on business” (Front Page, 5/16/15).

While there is little doubt a few in the business community would experience some “quivers,” the citizens think better of our business leaders who in their own enlightened self-interest would be deterred from such treacherous practices.

The public’s “X-ray vision” recognizes the prudence in the business community’s “neutral” response to a provocative declaration from a vengeful politician in power.
