Remedy daily bottleneck on West Service Road

/ 12:22 AM April 25, 2015

The West Service Road along the South Luzon Expressway, stretching from Villamor Airbase to Alabang, is a bottleneck, day in, day out. Traffic enforcers should be deployed or assigned regularly to all choke points on this stretch of road, particularly subdivisions, malls, factories and the like.

Jeepney drivers should be prohibited from waiting for passengers in exit points because they impede the smooth flow of traffic, thus inconveniencing motorists using the service road.

Proper coordination among the affected cities, such as Pasay, Parañaque and Muntinlupa, should be implemented immediately to solve and remedy the almost daily horrendous traffic jam on the West Service Road.
