I would like to put in my two centavos’ worth of opinion regarding President Aquino.
Let us leave him alone to focus his energy, in his last year of presidency, on still unfinished businesses: agrarian reform, Ampatuan massacre, Bangsamoro Basic Law, extrajudicial killings, pork barrel, to mention a few. To give him credit, he would be a “moral exemplar” (Randy David’s column of March 5) in his sincere efforts on “daang matuwid.”
In the same vein, I would vote for Grace Poe for our next president. Realistically speaking, our best hopes are in such moral exemplars against corruption which is now inculturated in our society. We may still evolve consciously into a nation of honest citizens, when all our corrupt leaders are gone.
God bless us and help us.
