Lesson from history for Aquino

In the Battle of Gettysburg, the Confederates suffered a humiliating defeat.

Gen. Robert E. Lee, one of the Confederacy’s acclaimed heroes, whose imposing monument stands today in Washington, DC, met his men with tears in his eyes to tell them it was all his fault. He told the truth. He admitted his lapses in judgment and assumed responsibility for the debacle.

President Aquino should read history and learn from it.
