Stop sharing of Mamasapano videos

I was shocked beyond relief upon seeing (partly because I immediately stopped viewing) those Mamasapano videos which showed already wounded police officers

lying helplessly on the ground being shot at pointblank by those most repugnant of evil murderers.

In a civilized society, one does not kick an opponent who is already lying on the ground. Boxers in the ring are stopped by the referee once the other fighter is being pummeled and on the way down. But those killers are not civilized and they do not follow civilized society’s norms. They are beasts.

I want to ask readers not to view and share those videos for the following reasons:

  1. Viewing them will surely leave serious psychological damage in their minds.
  2. Sharing them will inflict similar damage on those who may view them.
  3. Sharers will abet the heinous crime that has been done to the hapless police officers and their relatives.
  4. Sharers will help those killers spread terror in hearts and minds and provide

terrorists more ammunition for psychological warfare.
