Another way, which is also an opportunity for President Aquino to redeem himself and his presidency, is by helping the struggling poor masses in the Philippines that have been affected by Typhoon “Ruby.”
I know the typhoon is a couple months past, but it seems that Mr. Aquino tends to forget more and more to follow up the delivery of assistance due those who were affected by natural disasters—be it “Yolanda,” “Pablo” or any other—as time flies.
Mr. Aquino should start caring not just about his poll satisfaction numbers but more about helping the struggling poor masses affected by calamities that visit the Philippines. It’s not fair that he is seen and gives interviews in show-biz celebrity weddings while millions of Filipinos are starving and struggling to pick up the pieces of their ravaged homes.
