Changed man from his salad days, or merely revealed?

How different or even unnecessary the Inquirer’s Sept. 26 editorial would have been had Budget Secretary Butch Abad simply shrugged off the incident and said: “It’s OK. I understand how they feel. I once stood in their shoes after all.”

Instead he whined and complained, which underscored how much he has changed since his salad days—or perhaps nothing has ever really changed at all.
