No to negativism

I always wish for any president to succeed in bringing the most good to the most number of people during her or his incumbency. Presidents who were elected through mostly peaceful and orderly means deserve our prayers, at the very least, even if we didn’t vote for them.

It strikes me that those who are vociferous about their displeasure and who wish incumbent leaders ill are those who have done little or no social good. Those who are doing a lot of good regardless of whoever is the incumbent simply continue doing good work. You hardly hear any complaint from them. They waste no time doing good. Anyone who is at the helm is bound to fail from time to time.

Just do good.

For me, it’s not a matter of political color anymore. If you disagree with the incumbent, it would do all of us a world of good to find an advocacy, ministry, or project to help people. You don’t need to trumpet your acts of charity, benevolence, justice and mercy.

Just do good.
