On Aquino’s political demise

President Aquino is politically dead. We are just waiting now for the burial!

He has the temerity to threaten the Supreme Court in protest of its unanimous decision declaring the despicable Disbursement Acceleration Program unconstitutional. No president of the Philippines has done this before. The Supreme Court should consider holding Mr. Aquino in contempt of court and at least reprimand him when it decides on the motion for re consideration that the Aquino administration has filed.

With his threat, President Aquino would like the Supreme Court to change its mind? Amazing ignorance, coupled with hubris and hypocrisy!

Never again should the Filipino people elect a president like Mr. Aquino who has no respect for a co-equal branch of government.
