‘New’ Aquino administration’s thrust late by two years

“Focus on inclusive growth” in last two years of the Aquino administration (Front Page, 6/29/14).  Wow! Aren’t they supposed to have done that in the past two years (2012-2013)? Just asking.

Former National Economic and Development Authority director general Cielito F. Habito noted in his June 26, 2012 column in the Inquirer that in year 2011, the increase in  wealth of the Top 40 richest Filipinos was equivalent to 76.5 percent of the gross domestic product of the Philippines.

Habito, the socioeconomic planning secretary of President Fidel V. Ramos, has a doctorate degree in Economics from Harvard University.
