Sick shows pretending to be entertainment

The proliferation of salacious entertainment where performers resort to lewd, lustful body movements and near-nudity to make up for lack of professional caliber, and the apparent depravity of frenzied crowds who patronize them, bode an ominous scenario.

The Inquirer’s June 7 editorial cartoon by Jess Abrera tells everything about the reaction of this writer and I am sure everyone else who abhors these disgusting and morally offensive ways of what is supposed to be recreational activity. Which brings me to ask myself. Lord, what’s happening to our civilized society and humanity in general? Is this what will trigger the beginning of the end revealed in the Holy Bible?

I certainly hope not—especially if the morally upright majority will group together to totally ban and discourage these sickening shows claiming and pretending to be entertainment.
