It’s bad enough that commuters have to form very long lines to take a ride in an MRT3 train. The MRT3 runs between North Edsa and Baclaran. But how true is it that there are signs of fatigue or cracks on MRT3’s tracks?
Another serious concern is the deficiencies in MRT3’s electrical system, which can cause fire. A columnist has written about these dangers, and a person very knowledgeable with MRT3 operations has told me about these concerns. I agree with both: These defects pose a great danger to the lives and limbs of MRT3 passengers.
The present MRT3 was designed for 350,000-400,000 passengers only. Today, some 600,000 passengers are using it.
