Unfounded but revealing

The outburst of Mayor Tocao Mastura about the flooding in Sultan Kudarat municipality in a TV program aired and shown on June 17, 2011 (“TV Patrol”), mirrored the frustration of the Bangsamoro. The national government is slow in helping his municipality (Sultan Kudarat) simply because the people living therein are Moros, he lamented. The outburst may be unfounded, yet it reflects the sentiment of the Moros.

The government has to address this deep-seated sentiment of the Moros toward government. It has to give attention to the Moroland.

Moros now are dreaming of independence. Sooner, their dream will be realized due to the inaction of the government.
