I agree 100 percent with former senator Ping Lacson, now “Yolanda” rehabilitation czar: The Yolanda survivors who marched to Malacañang to seek an audience with President Aquino and protest the slow pace of rehabilitation work were “communist pawns” who wanted to agitate people and discredit government for not acting according to high expectations on the situation back home.
People Surge is a people’s organization being used by communists and leftists to destabilize the government. I am a Leyteño myself. And Leyteños are known to be patient, friendly and disciplined. I believe there is another group behind those protesters, and it’s not People Surge.
It is a long way from Leyte and yet these individuals came to Manila to protest even though their dire condition and sufferings are far from over. How could they afford the travel expenses and sustain their stay here?
