‘Exceptional talent’ puts PH on world map of skating

Bravo to Michael Christian Martinez for putting the Philippines on the world map at the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, with his impressive performance in the men’s figure skating competition.

Against all odds and with sheer guts and determination, Michael was able to realize his unlikely dream of making it to the Winter Olympics. No wonder, the world took notice of his exceptional and extraordinary talent and made him a media sensation in figure skating at the Sochi Winter Olympics.

Thanks to Michael for the great honor bestowed on the nation with his feat. He joins the long list of Filipino achievers on the world stage.
