Like student scoring zero in every exam

People are wondering if this government is learning its lessons. Typhoons in the Philippines are expected and recurring climate phenomena. Death and destruction happen every year because of typhoons.

The Philippine government is like a student who always scores zero in exams. The recent low pressure area which turned into Tropical Depression “Agaton” has caused more than 68 deaths in Mindanao. The flooding has been as devastating as the ones before. The manner the destroyed infrastructure is being repaired has not changed. The distribution of relief items is still the same. When will this government learn?

Maybe this government will only act if the death toll during a typhoon will be more than 1,000. This is its “response tolerance level.”

This is very sad and the people of Mindanao are getting the same lesson: They are always the neglected people.
