RH bill goes against God’s 10 Commandments

/ 08:04 PM June 22, 2011

If we are all faithful to the Ten Commandments, the Reproductive Health bill would never be taken up in Congress, much less make it as news.

Our Constitution is founded on the same principles and teachings that make up the commandments and sacraments of the Catholic Church.

The Sixth Commandment tells us, “Thou shalt not kill,” and nothing is said about controlling the population, or we would not have with us now President Aquino, Lea Salonga, Edcel Lagman, Miriam Santiago and many others. In fact, our Lord said that Abraham’s children will be as many as the stars in the skies. And in fact, our lawmakers use the population and the people’s well-being to justify the pork barrel and taxes, from which they steal big and without compunction.

Another commandment is, “Thou shalt not commit adultery. The proposed RH law will encourage promiscuity and could result in more “kabits” (mistresses), unwed couples, fatherless children, etc.

By God’s grace, I am now almost 87 years old. I was a Cathechist, served in the Women Auxiliary Service during World War II, and used to work as a realtor and appraiser. I feel it is my duty to remind people that we are all God’s special creatures for whom God gave Moses the Ten Commandments, which has since been handed down through hundreds of generations.
