Give pork to victims of ‘Yolanda’

Instead of lawmakers advertising that they are giving up their pork, why don’t they quietly arrange for it to be given to the victims of Typhoon “Yolanda,” subject to tight monitoring, accounting and reporting so that by yearend we know what has been done with the money?

Elected lawmakers may have horns, but I do not see the halos of the unelected in the executive, either.

And the unelected Supreme Court should account for the billions of pesos in the Judiciary Development Fund (JDF) collected since 1984. Why is there no decent courthouse in Manila?
