Lacson’s media stunt a lobby ploy

12:33 AM November 06, 2013

I hope Filipinos are not being fooled by Ping Lacson’s media stunt to endear himself to the public as an incorrupt public official. He is no saint by any stretch of imagination. I don’t know him personally so he may be a nice guy, but for him to start blabbing against the Disbursement Acceleration Program and the pork barrel and talking about the past Arroyo administration? This is simply absurd.

He may have a point but it is best for him to just keep his mouth shut on such matters. We all know he is trying to sneak his way into the Aquino administration as the “Anti-Graft Czar” so maybe, this is part of his lobbying for the position.

When Lacson was faced with serious charges, he fled and hid from the law. President Aquino dropped these charges against him. Would he now reward Lacson with a place in Malacañang?
