BIR cause of delay in move to replace invoices

10:03 PM September 04, 2013

Unless the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) further postpones the implementation of its order for all business invoices to be replaced, I’m afraid many medium- and small-sized businesses will not be able to operate normally when the deadline strikes midnight.

While many business outlets have applied for new receipts since many months ago, printers unfortunately cannot move without BIR approval and authorization for each individual applicant. But as it turns out, the processing of applications for approval and authorization by the BIR seems to be taking a long time.
