LTFRB against bus ban, no surprise

09:36 PM August 29, 2013

I am not surprised that the Land Transportation and Franchising Regulatory Board (LTFRB) is questioning the banning of provincial buses from entering Manila. That office is the one that has been authorizing buses on city streets without considering the welfare of the public. There is also a proliferation of service buses and taxis that adds to the traffic problem.

The LTFRB must consider what our existing roads can handle and not just give franchises left and right.
