SSS count of 10 days longer than 3 months
As an SSS member, I would like to complain about the slow and inefficient manner members’ requests are handled by the SSS head office.
I requested for a manual verification of my un-posted SSS contributions through SSS-Mandaluyong on Feb. 20, 2011. I was made to understand that it would take three months to do this although a poster in the SSS premises commits to do this in 10 days. Until now, according to Ms Connie Rosete of SSS-Mandaluyong, who patiently deals with my queries, there is still no word from the head office regarding my request.
Calling the SSS head office is a waste of time as its trunk line is always busy, and in the few instances that I was able to get through, I was always made to wait for a long time.
Article continues after this advertisementI am getting exasperated with what I’ve been through with SSS. Could SSS president Emil de Quiros please act on my request at the soonest time possible as I am set to leave the country. I am hoping for his immediate response to this new request.
