This is in reference to the article titled, “Group slams DPWH repair of ‘good roads’” (Metro, Inquirer, 5/26/13) citing the “double asphalt overlay done in late 2012 and early 2013” on the Sta. Rosa-Tagaytay road in Laguna province.
Engineer Joel F. Limpengco, OIC of the second district engineering office of the Department of Public Works and Highways in Laguna, has submitted a report on the asphalt overlay projects completed in 2012 and 2013. Limpengco included in the report a straight line diagram of the Sta. Rosa-Ulat-Tagaytay road section to show that there was no double asphalt overlay done along the same road section.
