No mention of old senators

This refers to Conrado de Quiros’ May 9 column titled “Young.” To clarify, Sen. Miriam Defensor-Santiago only said she wanted young people in the Senate, and that’s why she was endorsing Sonny Angara and Risa Hontiveros.

She never mentioned anybody as belonging to the “category of old or septuagenarian.”

The names that De Quiros mentioned in his column did not come from Senator Santiago.
