Nothing wrong with Aquino’s ‘anililagnia’ for Legarda

/ 08:26 PM March 31, 2013

There is nothing wrong for a younger (but at 53, no longer young) man having a romantic interest in, or falling in love with, a not-so-young woman. It is called “anililagnia.”

Sen. Loren Legarda is not old, she is a mature and brainy lady full of wisdom and, most of all, she is also beautiful in face and at heart. You should see her picture on the cover of  the Feb. 3 issue of the Sunday Inquirer Magazine, a copy of which I am keeping.

So I am confessing, like President Aquino, that I admire Senator Legarda; that I always vote for her every time she runs for a national office, as when she ran for vice president.

I am very glad that our bachelor President has at least found someone to love and help him personally and politically. He has chosen wisely, giving the reason that Senator Legarda like him is “de buena familia.”
