Both Palace, GSIS sleeping on plea

My warm greetings and commendation for the Inquirer’s unrelenting advocacy for good governance in our bureaucracy.

My plea to the Office of the President to call the attention of the Government Service Insurance System to act on my request (I have sent a letter dated Jan. 4, 2013, to Malacañang’s Presidential Action Center and three letters to the GSIS) for correction of my record insofar as complete payment of my Consol Loan is concerned, appears to have fallen on deaf ears as I have yet to receive a responsive answer.

For the sake of my colleagues in the service who are similarly situated and who are at the mercy of GSIS’ procrastination and to awaken the  GSIS from slumber—perhaps all hope is not yet lost—please have this letter published if only to uphold the welfare of thousands of GSIS retirees.
