Dynasts’ end in 2016

Political dynasties and “turncoatism” are relevant issues that Congress should resolve before the presidential election of 2016.

For decades, Philippine politics has been dominated by political clans at the local level; now the domination has extended to and can be seen at the national level, too.

In the provinces, rivalries among political clans are quite common and at times end up in violent confrontations or even death.

And as election time nears, party-switching for political convenience and survival is quite common among politicians. Let’s put an end to all these political maneuverings by our seasoned politicians. Let’s strictly implement the law and follow them to the letter.
