Vet’s missing pensions

/ 10:30 PM January 20, 2013

I am a retired master sergeant from the Armed Forces of the Philippines. I served the AFP from 1951 to 1981.

I send proof of life to the Finance Center and Philippine Veterans Affairs Office in Camp Aguinaldo every six months. The last time I sent one was in July 2012.

I am writing this to call the attention of President Aquino and tell him that since January 2010 up to the present, some of my monthly retirement, old age and disability pensions were not remitted to my Land Bank account in the Philippines.

Mr. President: Sir, in this connection, I would like to request help from your office to solve my pension problem. Thank you, Sir!—MARCELO CRUZ ORTIGOZA, Korean war veteran, 9927 Red Ginger, Elk Grove CA 95757 USA
