Data on pork sourced from DBM website

/ 11:14 PM January 06, 2013

This has reference to the article titled “DBM released P140-M pork for ex-solon via ‘caretaker’” (Inquirer, 1/2/13).

In said article, I was cited as one of the representatives who “received zero pork barrel allocation last year.”

I wish to clarify that the entire Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) allocation for my district was duly released by the Department of Budget and Management last year.

Hence, I will greatly appreciate it if the Inquirer can correct the wrong information reported in that Jan. 2 article.—REP. JOSELITO “JONJON” R. MENDOZA, Third District, Bulacan

Thank you, but all data on pork barrel were based on DBM website postings.—GIL C. CABACUNGAN, reporter, Inquirer
