Aquino’s actions discordant with his words

/ 11:03 PM January 04, 2013

It’s quite amusing that on Rizal Day, President Aquino called for national “unity” when he himself has been sowing disunity and hatred all this time. Just look at the yellow ribbon he always wears. Is he the President of just a select group of people?

Didn’t he suspend Cebu Gov. Gwendolyn Garcia on trumped-up charges and replace her with the sister of his crony, Cabinet Secretary Rene Almendras? Is this any way to “unite” the nation? Besides, he continually assails his predecessor, former President Gloria Arroyo; he seems to be hopelessly obsessed with the past and can’t move on for the sake of the nation.

President Aquino should get himself through an honest-to-goodness introspection so that he would realize that what he is doing is contrary to what he is saying.
