What I want

I want Mother Nature to be destroyed and to be screwed. I want animals to rot in hell.

I want cigarette smoke to fill the lungs of every child. I want the polar ice caps to melt like ice cream under a hot summer sun.

If it’s not too much to ask, I’d also want to use synthetics and chemicals to smear the face of the earth, so as to make a plastered harlot out of Mother Nature.

You must be thinking: “What the hell is up with this guy? Who in their sane mind would want such turmoil to cross our world?” Well, if you’re thinking that, then you’re actually being hypocritical. Because in fact and oblivious to reality, your daily actions contribute to the fulfillment of these seemingly shocking declarations.

I will not go on and ramble about how we should reuse, reduce, recycle and all that. Almost everyone already knows about these preventive measures, yet you hardheads can never seem to make a habit out of such concepts. I am at least hoping that I can soften up your heads and nail the message home.

In case you haven’t noticed, we aren’t conducting these “Save the environment” campaigns for ourselves, but for the future. We humans are just apparently so naïve that we only act upon things that presently affect us. We think the future is so distant, and so it’s not our natural impulse to be mindful of its state. Let me remind you, though, that we are the ones responsible for paving the way to the future. As such, we must fight off those who pose a threat to Mother Nature.

Easy, right? Wrong. How can one go about arresting his own prodigal son? How can Dr. Victor Frankenstein ever destroy his creature? Even though technology has helped fulfill the wishes I stated earlier, technology has also uplifted our lives in ways we could never have imagined.

Yes, in itself technology has never been a bad thing; it’s just its byproducts that do harm to our environment.

With the ever-rising levels of technology and amazing scientific advancements, you can’t deny that life is now pretty well off and going great! And while it may seem as if technology will never stop evolving, much to the point of seemingly being too fast and adding to the wastes afflicting the world, you should not fret. If evolution can’t be stopped, who’s to say that evolution must always produce waste products? There are ways by which technology can evolve in favor of the environment. Hybrid cars, windmills, and the utilization of renewable resources are just some of the few discovered ways that provide energy while minimizing waste.

Having said this, I must also say that the research studies on renewable energy are truly a fine detour—a freshly paved road to a better future, a future wherein technology and Mother Nature work hand in hand.

I want Mother Nature to be lively and to be prosperous. I want animals to flourish and be healthy.

I want fresh air to fill the lungs of every child. I want the polar ice caps to float in blue oceans in all their glory.

If it’s not too much to ask, I’d also want to use organic materials and renewable resources, so as to make a chaste beauty out of Mother Nature.

You must be thinking: “What the hell is up with this guy? Who in their sane mind would NOT want such abundance to cross our world?” Well, if you’re thinking this, then you’re probably looking with great favor on these statements. In hopeful foresight, your daily actions will contribute to the fulfillment of these wishes.
