Fraternities are passé organization

It is my honest belief that the first thing being taught and learned by would-be lawyers of this great nation is to plan and prepare to violate the laws of the state and get away with it. Such is the impression being made by law fraternities that send neophytes to kingdom come.

The false and misleading claims made by fraternities have lured recruits, a number of whom have lost their lives. And this has made the Filipino public so angry, disappointed and dissatisfied with the actions of those who are supposed to prevent or stop this waste of time and lives called “initiation.”

I honestly believe that schools, colleges and universities should implement clear and concrete measures to dissuade their students from joining fraternities. This they can do by removing, dismantling and banning all things, signs, memorabilia, emblems and the likes of all fraternities inside their premises and campuses. Neither should fraternities be continuously glorified and promoted by honoring them in whatever form and fashion. This should send a clear and convincing message that fraternities are not welcome and are passé organizations.

I am supporting any action meant to send school fraternities to extinction and oblivion.
