We would like to thank Neal Cruz for taking the time to educate his readers about the postpaid mobile offers of Smart Communications (Inquirer, 8/22/12). We would like to take the opportunity to share other important information that may help them in better understanding these offers.

We have designed our current suite of postpaid services to provide our customers the widest range of options, knowing that people have varying budgets, requirements and preferences.

Our “All-In Plans” are available in monthly fees of as low as P500 up to P2,500, and all these plans come with free handsets and, most importantly, are fully consumable. What this means is that the “buckets” subscribers register for will be “tucked in” or charged against and deducted from the fixed monthly fee—allowing them to enjoy the entire value of what they pay for.

This is the opposite of our competitor’s closest offer, where most service buckets are billed on top of what it already charges as the fixed monthly fee.

FEATURED STORIES

The “Unli Data Plans” all offer unlimited mobile Internet and some amount of calls and text messages. Thus, users who require unlimited access to the Internet can maximize their powerful smartphones. These plans come bundled with the most advanced devices available in the country.

The “Unli Social Plan” is for subscribers that are heavily into social networking. It is available at P349 per month, and comes bundled with a free smartphone.

The “Unli Postpaid” plans 299 and 599 are for those that require unlimited calling and texting with other fellow Smart subscribers. These plans come bundled with free handsets.

Our latest offer is called “Freedom” simply because it is the most flexible and customizable Smart postpaid offer ever. We consider it the “starter” postpaid plan and it comes with just the SIM and no handset. Freedom users pay no fixed monthly fee, and they get charged at the end of the month only for what they use, or only for the buckets they registered for.

Whatever our subscribers choose among these options, they will enjoy the best possible service whether for calling, texting or accessing mobile Internet. This means clear calls, real-time delivery of text messages, and fast and reliable data connection, anytime.
