Where have all the Filipino women-heroes gone?

This is in reaction to the contents of the “overlay” the Inquirer’s June 12 issue came out with.

Cradle of noble heroes! But not of noble heroines? There was not a single reference to heroic women. None at all.  Oops, except in one little and inconspicuous corner of the whole page on heroes, where an airport janitress was cited as a silent hero.
