A new sense of hope with Aquino at the nation’s helm

/ 01:50 AM June 25, 2012

Please allow me the pleasure of sharing with President Aquino my new sense of triumph, which has overwhelmed the feeling of hopelessness that I had in the past, before he became our president. While I worry, perhaps like a sister, about his feeling of restlessness which is understandable, I always wish him the best in his battle for truth and justice.

With due respect, I believe his painful experience at an early age molded him and numbed his sense of fear of life’s uncertainties—a virtue only survivors and eventual winners seem to possess. For this, I am very proud of him.

Mabuhay po ang Presidente! And God bless!
