Scientists need Aquino’s help

May I call the attention of President Aquino to the lack of importance given to Filipino scientists. As we all know, scientists are the cream of the crop of our country. Without them, some of the most important experiments and inventions wouldn’t be here today.

I am writing this letter to beg the President to allocate enough funds for our own scientists so that they can work on new, useful inventions. With their inventions, the Philippines could become more competitive and a more popular tourist destination. And we could even export new products.  But this would only be possible if the government would help our scientists.
