Keep Baywalk vendor-free

With the near completion of Manila’s famed Baywalk along Roxas Boulevard, Mayor Alfredo Lim should declare the area a vendor-free zone.

Before the onslaught of Typhoon “Pedring,” food vendors crammed the promenade, especially during weekends, thus uglifying the place.

As Manila’s tourist attraction, Baywalk is a place for fun and relaxation for all people from all walks of life to enjoy. It was never meant to be a haven for ambulant vendors.

Please, Mayor Lim, we already have lots of vendors clogging our major thoroughfares and sidewalks in Manila. Enough is enough.
