Lighting of dark highway stretch awaiting Road Board’s action

This refers to the published concern of Pedro Refuerzo Jr. of 6737 Taylo St., Makati City, re “Dark stretch of Osmeña Highway poses danger to the public” (Inquirer, 5/11/12).

May we wish to inform that the Department of Public Works and Highways-Second Metro Manila District Engineering Office has already requested the Road Board to include the road section from Buendia overpass up to Magallanes Interchange in the National Road Lighting Program.
