Is Kris Aquino a beer drinker?
A TV commercial showing Kris Aquino endorsing San Miguel Beer is disturbing. In it, Kris is seen holding a bottle of the well-known alcoholic beverage while mumbling words that sound like she is touting the product as if to persuade people to drink it.
While endorsing products may be part of Kris’ job as a celebrity, I cannot help being alarmed somewhat by the ad which I think is tasteless as it may unwittingly project Kris as a beer drinker!
I say San Miguel Corp. should have chosen another celebrity, preferably a male, to endorse its well-known brand of beer. Why, of all people, Kris? So, with Kris as its endorser, is San Miguel Beer now a ladies’ drink?
