Albay could be Bicol’s tourism heartland

While there’s fun in Caramoan, Camarines Sur and in “Butanding spots” in Donsol, Sorsogon, the Mayon and Cagsawa ruins, the Japanese World War II tunnels in Albay caves and the Embarcadero fronting Misibis Bay-Pacific Ocean and other numerous scenic and historic spots, plus an international airport in Daraga town, should make Albay the heartland of tourism in Bicolandia.

Not only will there be fun in Albay but also an unforgettable, exciting, thrilling and amazing experience should the provincial government and private investors put up a new, disaster-proof, separate zipline from Lignon Hill down Culliat Hill, across rice fields and greeneries, to provide a spectacular panoramic view of Legazpi City and neighboring towns and the world-famous Mayon Volcano. Albay will thus become the center of tourism and a favorite destination of local and foreign tourists. It is time Albay had a master plan that should guide investors where to build additional resorts, hotels, shopping malls, etc. to provide world-class facilities and services for incoming and outgoing tourists.
