Well-deserved accolade for St. Luke’s

/ 10:35 PM April 20, 2012

I’m not surprised by the news that St. Luke’s Medical Center has been adjudged one of the most beautiful hospitals in the world. (Inquirer, 4/12/12) It’s a well-deserved accolade that not just the hospital but the entire nation as well ought to be really proud of.

I’ve stayed at St. Luke’s for a minor operation and I can vouch for the fact that its services and facilities are world-class. And it didn’t burn a hole in my pocket at all as its room rates and diagnostic tests were affordable.

Kudos to St. Luke’s for this recognition as one of the most beautiful hospitals in the world, along with just two others in Asia. I know that the hospital administration exerts every effort to get the best medical specialists and state-of the-art equipment. And with interiors resembling those of a five-star hotel, I’d choose this medical facility any time.
