Immediate result

This refers to the letter (“Unusually high Maynilad water bill revised,” Inquirer, 3/9/2012) of Maynilad Water Services Inc.

After receiving my January 2012 water bill amounting to P163,583.74 on Jan. 8, 2012, a Sunday, I immediately wrote a letter addressed to Maynilad, Cavite branch. On Jan. 9, 2012, first office hour, I personally handed my letter to Veneranda Salazar who promised me to send investigators. After waiting for one month, I received a “notice of disconnection.”

As a last resort, I wrote the Inquirer, my favorite newspaper, which provided immediate result, so “maraming, maraming salamat po.”
