Enigmatic and amusing

The peroration of Sen. Miriam Defensor-Santiago on the Senate floor may be amusing to many but sometimes her performance is overdone.

I think that she is more enigmatic and effective during times of her cool, composed and less theatrical discourse. If she could only exude Greta Garbo’s famous mystique, then the world would be at her feet.

I refuse to conform to loose talk that she be named national clown because I respect her so much.
