Corona’s character is key issue

/ 09:18 PM January 16, 2012

The entire hullabaloo about whether or not the prosecution should be presenting evidence against Chief Justice Renato Corona to the public serves only to muddle the real question. While all this commotion is happening, we move farther away from what we should be really speaking about—which is to know the real person of our Chief Justice.

I believe that speaking about it can only be healthy. Ferreting out the truth and having a public debate on it can only make it clear; it can only make the decisions more founded—not only on what is presented before the Senate, but on the pulse of the people as well.
