Minimum order for senior citizen’s discount

One fine day at Robinsons Galeria, after watching a movie, I decided to have a snack at one of my favorite fast-food outlets, “The Sandwich Guy.” Great was my shock when I was told that senior citizens must have a minimum order of P150. And what I had ordered—their most expensive sandwich plus a soft drink—was less than the required amount. So I canceled the order.

Isn’t this circumventing the law? Isn’t this discriminating against seniors? Attention Sen. Edgardo Angara, author of the law mandating discounts for persons 60 years old and above.
