Harry Roque: No cases filed against me on Pogos

The Philippine Daily Inquirer’s editorial, “When Harry Met Karma” (9/27/24) comparing my predicament to that of former senator Leila de Lima is unwarranted and malicious.

More than a dozen witnesses gave testimonies against the former senator in her criminal case; no witness has come out saying I am involved in Philippine offshore gaming operators (Pogos) or any illegal gambling activity.

Your editorial especially conveniently overlooks the crucial fact that the Philippine Anti-Organized Crime Commission and the Philippine National Police have not filed a case against me regarding Pogo.

Sa madaling salita, walang kaso, kaya dapat tapos ang kuwento.

Everything else that is happening is a witchhunt against me.
