Divorce bill disconcerting

The recent news that the divorce bill was approved by a Senate committee is disconcerting. As a wife and mother, I want laws that strengthen and safeguard my marriage, not break it.

In the US, where divorce is legal and accessible, the statistics show a grim scenario: around half of first marriages end up in divorce and the divorce rate is even higher at 67 percent for the second and 73 percent for third marriages. Is this what we want to have here in our country? Divorce creates more problems than those it hopes to solve.
