After spending 37 years in the field of education, I must admit that I am leaving as a legacy only this decalogue that I have faithfully lived by:
1. Education is a right, fight for it.
2. Ask questions on lessons not fully explained by teachers.
3. Seek the objective of education, not the name of the school or the teachers.
4. If in a private school, pay your tuition, it’s not government-subsidized.
5. Ask for a certificate of recognition, you may have been duped by a colorum school.
6. Take courses that will empower you as an entrepreneur, not enslave you as a worker.
7. Go back to your school after receiving your first paycheck to thank your teachers, then subsidize a scholar.
8. Values formation is the be-all and end-all of a school curriculum. Live it.
9. You may not know Science and Math, but you are better off with GMRC (good manners and right conduct).
10. Do anything except those that may embarrass you, your school or your family.
