Salute to fisherman in Bajo de Masinloc
I want to congratulate the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) for their efforts to remove the floating barriers installed by China in the West Philippine Sea.
The bravery of the PCG is a testament that the Philippines will fight for its territory; we will never be cowed by their bullying.
I would also like to express my salute to the Filipino fisherman who challenged and annoyed the China Coast Guard on Sept. 22, 2023, in the area of Bajo de Masinloc. May these actions send a clear message to China that we will not back down from their incursions.

I am hoping that the government will continue to hold its ground to protect what is ours.
