Heavens’ message through Baywalk
What has happened to the “Baywalk,” the pride and the so-called “hipside of Manila”? Gone are the borders of glittering lights framed against a backdrop of a majestic sunset that has cast a spell on large crowds and wooing lovers for ages on end.
Beyond man’s wildest imagination, gigantic waves lashed against the sea walls and broke through. Detained on the coastal line were vehicles—among them, those “returned to donor”—damaged by seawater beyond repair. Some say that the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) missed a slim draw from an act of God, and was spared on its first offense. Yes, the heavens have spoken, as the faithful pray for an end to slander, defamation and desecration by the unscrupulous and irreligious.
